Accessibility statement
Motion for Mind aims to make its website and coaching easier to use for people who may experience attention, reading, memory, sensory or executive-function barriers.
What this website provides
- Keyboard-accessible controls and a skip link.
- Responsive layouts for mobile and desktop.
- Focus view, larger text, optional underlined links and an off-by-default read-aloud control.
- Clear headings, plain language and no forced countdowns or autoplay.
- Reduced motion when requested through the visitor’s device settings.
- A direct email route if part of the website is difficult to use.
Our standard
We work toward WCAG 2.2 AA principles, including keyboard use, screen-reader structure, zoom, reflow, contrast and mobile interaction. We do not claim that every part of the website is fully compliant until appropriate testing has been completed and recorded.
Reasonable adjustments
People can request practical adjustments such as an agenda in advance, camera choice, extra processing time, written summaries or telephone appointments where appropriate. A person does not need to provide their complete medical history to ask for an adjustment.
Known limitations
The website currently uses email for enquiries and links to the separately operated WorkWell Newcastle form. We cannot control the accessibility of a visitor’s email provider or an external website, but we can offer reasonable support or an alternative contact approach where practicable.
Tell us about a problem
Please tell us which page or task caused difficulty, what device or assistive technology was used if known, and what alternative or adjustment would help. We will acknowledge the issue and provide a reasonable alternative where possible.
